November 3, 2020 SORBA BOD MEETING NOTES

1. TREASURY REPORT

$110,408.30

2. MEMBERSHIP 386

3. ZETA CLEANUP

We have awesome volunteers!  Record number of volunteers to help with the cleanup.  All trails are open with the exception of Avalanche loop 3. 

4. BOD NOMINATIONS

All BOD members are willing to stay in position for 2021

5. BLANKETS PROJECTS

a. Winter Prep- Zeta helped to expedite winter prep. Kel and a crew will continue to work on drains

b. Gnarnia – Dave has made an access point for Ed to finish work on Gnarnia when he arrives

c. Blankets Sign Placement- still in the works

d. Maintenance Access for South and Avalanche- TBD

e. The Holler- Leaves are blown off- waiting on Mini-X

f. VMT Berms- waiting on Ed.  Should have ETA soon

g. Blankets signs- done

h.  Trees for fall- Jay will measure and submit the request

i. Building Awning- do we need permission to put up?

6. ROPE MILL PROJECTS

a. Oak Hall Check- no update

b. Costco Trail Opening?- Needs to have work done on it before it opens.  It is draining onto the trail.

c.  Maintenance Trails- We need to cut a trail from Bell Industrial to the bridge

7. Bike Patrol- no updates

8. Events-

a. Christmas Party- will be held Dec 12th 4-6 at Reformation Canton- food to be provided TBD

b. 2021 Events?- we are going to hold off on pre planning until we know what is going on with COVID

Additional discussion-

Angela will work on updating some things on the SORBA Website such as

Social rides, T shirt design contest, Angela and Dave will collaborate on monthly content to post to the website and cross post to social media pages

2021 goals (chapter meetings)

Venmo is working!

We need to buy Chris Randall a new chain for the chainsaw

Jay bought accessories for the ebike to transport tools and fuel to the trails

We discussed getting a container dropped at rope mill for the storage of tools and equipment
