We discussed announcing Mark Bolding as the Volunteer of the Year on Social Media (and website?)
4. 2021. Goals
Improving our Website and promoting the use of it
Gnarnia Opening

Re do the Mill and Explorer (ED)
Start the conversation about new trail systems at Red Top Mountain and Yellow Creek Rd

5. OAK HALL CHECK
The city will purchase the equipment and donate it
6. Woodstock Convention Visitor’s Bureau
Jay is on the board that meets quarterly and helps determine the spending of monies for tourism for Woodstock
7. Loop 4 Explorer/ parking for Rope/ possible BMX track/ Blankets to Rope Mill connector trail. There are some tracts of land that are being discussed as possible uses for above
8. Trail Director Update (see below)
9. Blankets Projects.
A.Gnarnia- working on crib wall and big turns in Little Warrior area. There will be some volunteers out there along with a work party this weekend to start South Loop
Access. Need to have volunteers pick up trash. We will possibly use log rides over the boggy areas.
Trail Work Party 2/21. Dave created a way to log volunteer hours through an app.
Need to build up creek crossing for EA.
B. Blankets sign placement TBD
C. The Holler Finalization- will finalize after Gnarnia complete
D. Trees for fall. Count submitted we have 20 coming
E. Web Cams for clubhouse- TBD
F. Maintenance Project for ED. - we need to get on his schedule
10. ROPE MILL PROJECTS
A. Costco trail opening- still waiting on the development
B. Trail Counter install- done just need to label them
C. Shed Location- North Side if we get the land or by the restrooms if we have enough room
D. Loop 4 Land- still in discussion
11. YELLOW CREEK ROAD PROJECT- the county is donating 250 acres to
SORBA WOODSTOCK for trail use. We need to get clarification on funds to develop trails (approximately 10 miles of trails)
12. BIKE PATROL UPDATES
Will met with the county and they worked on labeling EAs with GPS
CPR will be scheduled in March
AED was returned Friday. Needs to be reinstalled
13. 2021 EVENTS

We will have posters made that will send everyone to the website to find out when our events and meetings will be

3. ZETA CLEANUP

We have awesome volunteers!  Record number of volunteers to help with the cleanup.  All trails are open with the exception of Avalanche loop 3. 

4. BOD NOMINATIONS

All BOD members are willing to stay in position for 2021

5. BLANKETS PROJECTS

a. Winter Prep- Zeta helped to expedite winter prep. Kel and a crew will continue to work on drains

b. Gnarnia – Dave has made an access point for Ed to finish work on Gnarnia when he arrives

c. Blankets Sign Placement- still in the works

d. Maintenance Access for South and Avalanche- TBD

e. The Holler- Leaves are blown off- waiting on Mini-X

f. VMT Berms- waiting on Ed.  Should have ETA soon

g. Blankets signs- done

h.  Trees for fall- Jay will measure and submit the request

i. Building Awning- do we need permission to put up?

6. ROPE MILL PROJECTS

a. Oak Hall Check- no update

b. Costco Trail Opening?- Needs to have work done on it before it opens.  It is draining onto the trail.

c.  Maintenance Trails- We need to cut a trail from Bell Industrial to the bridge

7. Bike Patrol- no updates

8. Events-

a. Christmas Party- will be held Dec 12th 4-6 at Reformation Canton- food to be provided TBD

b. 2021 Events?- we are going to hold off on pre planning until we know what is going on with COVID

Additional discussion-

Angela will work on updating some things on the SORBA Website such as

Social rides, T shirt design contest, Angela and Dave will collaborate on monthly content to post to the website and cross post to social media pages

We need to buy Chris Randall a new chain for the chainsaw

Jay bought accessories for the ebike to transport tools and fuel to the trails

We discussed getting a container dropped at rope mill for the storage of tools and equipment
