A Fond Farewell: Celebrating the Legacy of Sixes Pit Bicycle Shop

On January 14th, the mountain bike community gathered at Blankets Creek to bid a heartfelt goodbye to a beloved local institution, Sixes Pit Bicycle Shop. Since 2013, Sixes Pit has been more than just a bike shop; it has been a hub for mountain bikers of all levels and a supporter of SORBA Woodstock.

The event was a fitting tribute to the shop's significant contribution over the years. Riders came together to share stories, reminisce about rides, and express gratitude for the shop’s support. The atmosphere was bittersweet, filled with both joy for the memories made and sadness for the end of an era.

As we close this chapter, we want to extend a profound thank you to Sixes Pit Bicycle Shop for their dedication, service, and the countless ways they have enriched our community. Their legacy will continue to inspire and propel us forward.

For those who couldn't attend, or for anyone who wants to relive the memorable moments, a full collection of photos from the event is available HERE Thank you to Mark Graham for the photos.
