SORBA Work Party this Saturday - 3/27 @ Old Rope Mill Park @ 9am

The construction of the first loop of the Taylor Randahl Memorial Trails is coming along nicely. We have already machine cut 1 mile of the 5.8 mile total length. Those who have come out to check on the progress are walking away with a huge grin. Many claim it reminds them of the old Ag Center at Chicopee. That would be an honor...

Now we need volunteers to clear the trail corridor for the next phase. We will be having a work party this Saturday, 3/27 @ 9am to clear it for machine work. The work party will last until 1pm. Free lunch will be provided afterwards.

Please bring rakes, lopers, and chainsaws if you have them. If you don't have any tools, no worries we will bring some for you. If you have a backpack blower, PLEASE bring that. Regular blowers aren't powerful enough. The more backpack blowers the faster we can clear it.

As always, wear sturdy boots, gloves and bring water to hydrate yourself.

Meet at the parking lot at Old Rope Mill Park at 9am.
